When the "Fireworks Festivals" turned into "Rain Festivals"

This story happened in last Saturday (July 27th) actually. I heard from my friend that they would have a hanabi taikai (summer fireworks festival) in a park near Tachikawa station. I and one of my friends planned to wear yukata and see the fireworks. We planned to leave the dorm at 4 p.m, but it took time to wear the yukata so we actually leave the dorm about 4.30.
I saw a lot of girls in yukata when I reached Musashisakai Station. And the number of girls in yukata started to increase as we approaching Tachikawa Station.
Aaaaaaaannd, there's this thing that I really hate.. Crowd of people..

this is just the beginning

I'm not very good at taking pictures

Well, since it's hanabi taikai so I think it can't be helped..
And I really like my yukata since it has butterfly pattern in it, so I didn't care much about the crowd. I saw a lot of yukatas in butterfly pattern too. Oh, how I love butterfly.. A, no, what I like is butterfly patern, something which is shape is butterfly, and something like that.. I don't know very well about butterflies actually. lol

can you see the butterflies?

The park is very spacious actually, so even there's so much people came for the fireworks, there's still a lot of space. More than enough space for 6 overseas students..

But then there's that dark clouds and lightnings-thunders, and they made one of friends got really scared. I heard that that day would be heavy rain and I started to feel an unpleasant premonition. But my friends decided to wait and pray for the clear sky, which was not happened. Because it was very awful rain!!
Aaaannd, the firework's canceled!! PERFECT!! orz
The wind was strong too, so even we walked toward the station with our umbrella, we still got wet.
I feel sorry for the firework's canceled, but actually I was a little bit happy when I and my friends walked through the rain. Beacuse it was long a go when I played under the rain. Don't you think it's fun to play under the rain? Then we decided to call it "Ame Matsuri" which means "Rain festivals" instead of "hanabi taikai". lol

I don't always take photos when I'm out, simply because I'm more "model" than "photographer". #if-you-know-what-I-mean
So, as you can guess, I'm bad at taking photos. But here's me and my friend's photos.
Boris from Russia

There's Boris in his weird face (or maybe his actual face?)

Boris and Hien from Vietnam

Ai Lynn from Myanmar and Dea from Indonesia
(She wasn't in the mood for photos so she covered her face)

Hien is very cute, right?

Ai Lynn, a Myanmar's cutie

I love Hien's expression in this photo! Very cute, right?

Then, when we arrived at the dorm, Ai Lynn asked Dea to take photos of me and her because we haven't taken our photos in our yukata together. And, here they are.

There will be lots of hanabi taikai in summer in Japan.. But I don't know if I will go there again in my yukata.. I love it, but it's a little bit tiresome to walk with your yukata on, and high heels.
